Meet the Team
Meet the people that make LindyGroove happen!
Leadership
These guys do all of the back end stuff yo.

Vicky Chan
CEO, Owner & Girl Boss
Established LindyGroove in 2001. Likes cute stuff and candy.
She takes care of getting dancers warmed up, introduce teachers and run the DJ booth and make announcements. Make sure to snag her for a dance when she's not busy on stage!

Grant Wong
Front Desk Manager
Started swing dancing in 2013 in college and LindyGroove was his first dance venue ever attended. Other than dancing, he enjoys wearing suspenders and playing pranks on others.
Grant manages welcoming and checking in guests at the door, helping answer any questions, teaching classes and private lessons, organize birthday requests, recruiting volunteers, and makes sure the night runs smoothly. Find a dance with him if you're looking for a challenge!

Dedication. Expertise. Passion.
This is your Team section. It's a great place to introduce your team and talk about what makes it special, such as your culture or work philosophy. Don't be afraid to illustrate personality and character to help users connect with your team.

Josiah Keagy
Lindy Hop, Shag, Balboa
Josiah is known for the energy he brings to the dance floor. He has never missed a week since he started in 2012* (*debatable now). He emphasizes connection, creativity, musicality, and plain goofiness when he dances. As a dancer he is always looking at ways to improve and push the limits of his own dancing as well as contributing to the evolution of the dance. He loves to dance with dancers of all levels and is constantly trying to spread his love for dancing.

Jasmine Cheung
Lindy Hop, Charleston
Jasmine has been dancing since the early 2010s. Once she heard jazz music, she had a drive to learn how to dance to it. She finds fundamenals, connection, and fun as core to her enjoyment of Lindh Hop. In her spare time, she enjoys baking at home and doing her nails.
Fun fact: Jasmine is not a founder of Microsoft.

Andy Perrin
Lindy Hop, Balboa
Andy fell into Lindy Hop accidentally in 2015, and has so far kept going on purpose. His favorite thing about dancing is the immediate connection that can occur between two strangers who might not have much else in common. He is very passionate about choosing your dance role intentionally, and will never turn down a switch dance.
In his free time you can find him elbows deep into ink, drawing comics.

Keegan Mullin
Photography
Began Lindy hop in 2011 and quickly developed a passion for the dance. He ran the Chapman Swing Club at Chapman University for four years, has been a member of several performance groups, and has taught at venues and private events around the Southern California area. Although Keegan is an avid competitor, he has a particular love for building a sense of community through Lindy hop. To Keegan, the dance is a beautiful means of self-expression, communication, and bringing people together.

Megan Aveni
Lindy Hop, Charleston
In 2013, while visiting her best friend in college, she got her first experience with Lindy Hop at the campus swing club, and she has only fallen more in love with it since. She began teaching Lindy Hop in 2018, excited to share the beautiful connection and self-expression that is possible in such a joyful dance. As a traveling dancer, teacher, competitor, and performer, Megan is actively looking to expand her knowledge of the major swing dances and connect with more people through dance all over the world.

Paul Riding
Live streaming
He has been doing Lindy hop for over 10 years in the SoCal scene and loves to teach, perform and compete. He started dancing in Riverside, and now regularly dances at the Metro in Pomona. He has competed with “The Bobbysox Brigade,” performed with “The Hollywood Hotshots” and earned third place in Camp Hollywood’s Intergenerational competition. Paul’s favorite thing about swing dancing is that tingly feeling you get when when a jazz soloist, a lead, and a follow share a totally awesome moment in which all parties improvisation perfectly correspond.
